The double circles on the bottom of the sake cup used to check the clarity and color of sake when tasting. The pattern is called janome (snake's eye) because it resembles a snake's eye. It is also a chic gift to wrap sake bottles for those who love sake.
Our Tenugui towel are dyed by hand by craftsmen using a dyeing technique called CHUSEN.
