The pattern exudes a simple beauty and warmth that is unique to handmade embroidery, creating a calming effect. The motif also resembles a "+ (plus)" sign, conveying the desire for "things to move in a good direction." Our Tenugui towel are dyed by hand by craftsmen using a dyeing technique called CHUSEN.
