Silvery ice floes drifting on the blue sea - just a look at it will evoke a cooling sensation, which is captured in this design. Since the olden days, people in Japan have been making use of snow patterns on summer kimonos to "cool down with the eyes." Inspired by this culture, we have deliberately incorporated ice floes, a winter feature, as a summer motif into this design.
Our Tenugui towel are dyed by hand by craftsmen using a dyeing technique called CHUSEN.
