Seeing and decorating plants that bloom each season is one of the pleasures throughout the year. The birth flowers of each month are included, making them a good choice for gift-giving. From January, they are cymbidium, freesia, tulip, cherry blossom, lily of the valley, rose, lily, sunflower, dahlia, gerbera, cyclamen, and poinsettia.
This pattern is dyed using the most challenging craftsman's pouring dyeing technique, "Hosokawa-zome." In this technique, "Masking, Pouring, dyeing, Washing, and Drying" are repeated twice using two stencils to reproduce the overlapping motifs.
Our Tenugui towel are dyed by hand by craftsmen using a dyeing technique called CHUSEN.
