In Japan, colorful hydrangeas can be seen everywhere in June. When the hydrangeas are at their best, the "rainy season" arrives in Japan. The hydrangea, which is very familiar to us Japanese, is dyed in blue and purple using the "Bokashi Dyeing" technique.
Our Tenugui towel are dyed by hand by craftsmen using a dyeing technique called CHUSEN.
