This 52cm square bandana is made of 100% cotton and dyed by hand printing with designs derived from the four seasons, nature, and culture of Japan. It features soothing tones based on traditional Japanese colors such as indigo and sumi ink.

The purplish navy blue color reminiscent of the fruit of eggplant is called "nasu-kon-iro" (eggplant navy blue). Eggplant is loved in Japan as a motif of good luck because of its meaning of accomplishing things.
