Shabondama (bubble) is a popular children's game. The Shabon-dama, a popular children's game, is expressed by combining the "Bokashi Dyeing" and "Hosokawa Dyeing" techniques, which are characteristic of the Pouring Dyeing technique, with the way it glitters and changes color as it catches the light. The design evokes a sense of nostalgia. The transparency created by the overlapping of colors makes this a beautiful piece. This pattern is dyed using the most challenging craftsman's pouring dyeing technique, "Hosokawa-zome." In this technique, "Masking, Pouring, dyeing, Washing, and Drying" are repeated twice using two stencils to reproduce the overlapping motifs.
Our Tenugui towel are dyed by hand by craftsmen using a dyeing technique called CHUSEN.
