Moon Phases Komon

 NEW
By changing the side where the light hits the moon, this stylish tenugui pattern depicts the waxing and waning of the moon as seen in the night sky.
Gazing at the moon in the autumn season is an age-old custom in Japan. Otsukimi, the moon viewing tradition, is said to have begun around 1,200 to 800 years ago. It is an event celebrating the autumn harvest while gazing at the round moon in the clear autumn sky. We designed the process of the moon waxing and waning on a single tenugui cloth. Incorporate this moon motif into your daily life and enjoy the beauty of the seasons and outer space. This unique and eye-catching tenugui will delight anyone who loves outer space.

Cats go to the bath  Osmanthus

 NEW

As an ode to the sweet osmanthus flowers that herald the arrival of autumn, we evoked their sweet fragrance through the placement of yellow and green. The soft colors invite memories of sweet osmanthus blossoms fluttering in the clear autumn air.
The design is based on the Edo era ukiyo-e Neko no Obuya, which depicts human-like cats getting into a public bath. The cats enjoying the bath are depicted in a humorous manner. This tenugui is perfect not only as an everyday item for cat lovers, but also as a gift for people interested in ukiyo-e and Japanese culture.

Deer in autumn leaves

 NEW

This is a heartwarming pattern depicting deer standing regally amidst the dancing autumn leaves. The theme is autumn in Japan, with the beautiful scenery of fall leaves coloring the mountains. The transition from green to yellow to red evokes the arrival of autumn, and seeing animals appearing among the trees is also fun.
The calm, deep navy blue color is not only wonderful for decoration, but it is also perfect for placemats that adorn the table along with the flavors of autumn.
