This is a tenugui that was designed based on the theme of the old picture scroll called Night Parade of One Hundred Demons Picture Scroll, which depicts yokai and tsukumogami passing along in a procession at night. The detailed gestures and expressions of the yokai make for a fun design. You can cover things with tenugui, spread tenugui out, and wrap items in them --- your imagination is the limit for how you want to use them in different daily life situations. The fine-pattern komon cloth is easy to use and especially good for summertime fun activities like camping and festivals. This design is packed with the charm of Japanese yokai, making it a wonderful gift item as well. ※The idea for this tenugui was inspired by an ukiyo-e print, but it is a completely original design.
